With the creation of Universidad María Serrana, the spirit moves us to contribute to the development of our country through training and education.

Created by Law No. 3694 in 2009, established in Loma Pytã of the capital and with campuses in several cities in the interior, Universidad María Serrana is a private university committed to academic excellence and ideological pluralism, as an extension of the educational services of the Centro de Educación Superior María Serrana, which was authorized in 2001.

A different option

From the moment of its founding, Universidad María Serrana set itself the challenge of being a different option in university education. This led the educational institution to work in areas that were previously neglected and to play an innovative role in the development of new educational methods.

Consolidated

Today, with several dozen academic programs underway, it is going through a consolidation stage and faces the constant challenge of responding to the new requirements of Paraguayan society.

Training and outreach

As an educational institution, Universidad María Serrana seeks to train its students in the various degrees it offers. But also, from a human and comprehensive perspective, it aims to shape professionals with international projection who promote social transformation and justice.
