Research Policy

The research policy of Universidad Privada María Serrana is substantial, involves research faculty and is articulated with the comprehensive training process of undergraduate and postgraduate students, with social outreach, in the pursuit of sustainable human, social and environmental development.
Research is understood as a contribution to the advancement, generation, management and appropriation of knowledge, to the solution of social problems and the improvement of community living conditions, as well as to the training of ethical, critical, reflective and autonomous professionals, capable of identifying and solving complex knowledge problems.

Objectives

Research Lines

Research at Universidad Privada María Serrana is generated according to the research lines established by each program or postgraduate course. Institutionalized research lines can be developed corresponding to a sufficiently broad topic or problem, in such a way that it can generate various possibilities of interest for the largest possible number of research groups. The research line should preferably be multidisciplinary or transdisciplinary and focus on solving the problems and needs of society.
