To train well-rounded university teachers with pedagogical and didactic knowledge for better guidance of the teaching-learning process in their area of expertise.
To train professionals with a humanist spirit, committed to society, capable of promoting innovative scientific and technological research and university extension, with leadership and critical thinking grounded in ethical principles.
Specific
- To develop pedagogical-didactic competencies that allow students to act as innovative agents in higher education teaching.
- To promote innovative pedagogical proposals for higher education, incorporating the contributions of educational sciences in the design, development and evaluation of teaching-learning processes.
- To design university extension projects in line with reality.
- To foster the development of relevant management for higher education with responsibility, openness and professional ethics.
- To identify the factors that affect the quality of management in higher education and propose alternative solutions.
